BOOKS
Make it Yours with Mimi G—amazing book I use a lot. Guides you through creating basic garments then teaches you ways you can modify the designs (slopers and basic patternmaking)
Vogue Sewing Revised & Updated—great general sewing resource
Pattern Magic by Tomoko Nakamichi—incredible Japanese designer with innovative patternmaking techniques. They also have a book on stretch fabrics that is superb.
